Kitchen Provisions Merch - The Knife Roll - WAX COTTON II - Design F

The latest drop of the knife roll has gone up a gear with some new high performance fabrics.

The body of these knife rolls are made from waxed cotton from Lancashire-based British Millerain, sourced from ends of rolls. This type of fabric is best known for its use in waxed jackets due to its water repellant qualities. Best of all, this type of fabric only looks better with age.

The fabric used to line the flap is a mixture of deadstock denim and drill cotton. The straps are polyester.

We worked with a small manufacturer in Tottenham to produce these in small runs making them very local. The quantities of fabric are limited and the combinations vary between each knife roll. If you see one you like, jump on it!

The knife rolls have five slots to accommodate your different size knives alongside other sundry equipment from paring knives and scissors, to peelers and oyster shuckers. The design includes a flap to cover and protect the blades, and a bonus slot for your sharpie. We do advise that you use blade guards in the knife roll.

They measure 50cm (total width) by 48cm (height) - big enough to fit a 270mm sujihiki or a large bread knife.

British Millerain fabric will age and crease as you use it, this is a quality of this type of fabric and not a fault. Spot clean only - do not wash, dry clean, tumble dry, or iron. Wait for dirt to dry and sponge off with cold water. Apply Millerain wax as needed
