The Chef's Press by Bruce Hill was one of those kitchen items that has been on our wish list for some time. For toasted cheese sandwiches, bacon, steaks... there are lots of things that would benefit from a bit of pressing. It allows food to cook faster while the vents release moisture. In hand, they are such a satisfying object - weighty, solid and oozing practicality.
The presses are designed to be stacked to reach the required weight and up to six can be used in conjunction. Single presses work for delicate items like fish or vegetables with heavier combinations for meats and the all important grilled cheese.
